Mailhuset is an email API for developers. Use it to send email your recipients agreed to receive, keep your account and API keys safe, and pay for the plan you choose. The service is provided as it is, so keep an eye on your sending and check results before you rely on them. These terms, together with our Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement, are the agreement between you and us.

Mailhuset is operated by Dalysie AS, registered in Norway. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Mailhuset” mean that service, and “you” means the person or organisation using it.

Accounts are currently created by invitation. Keep your password, recovery codes and API keys safe, and do not share them; anyone with an API key can send as you. You are responsible for everything done under your account and keys. Tell us at support@mailhuset.com if you think someone else has access. You must be able to enter a binding contract, and if you use Mailhuset for an organisation you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

You may send only email that is lawful and that your recipients have agreed to receive, and you must follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. It prohibits spam, purchased lists, deceptive or harmful content, and abuse of the service. Because Mailhuset sends over shared infrastructure, breaking those rules puts every other sender at risk, so we take them seriously.

To protect deliverability for everyone, new accounts are reviewed before they can send freely and may run under a warm-up limit at first. We maintain a suppression list and may throttle, pause or suspend sending if an account’s bounce or complaint rates get too high, or if we see signs of abuse. These protections apply to all accounts.

Your content stays yours; we do not claim ownership of it. By sending through Mailhuset you give us permission to process your messages only to deliver them and provide the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and the necessary consent to contact your recipients, and for making sure your messages and data do not break the law or infringe anyone’s rights. Where your messages contain personal data, our Data Processing Agreement governs how we handle it on your behalf.

Mailhuset offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Some plans include a monthly volume and charge for usage above it. Prices are shown before you buy and may change over time, applying to future periods. Payments are handled by Polar as merchant of record and by Paystack in Ghana, and any applicable taxes may be added. Paid periods and usage already incurred are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If something goes wrong on our side, contact us at support@mailhuset.com and we will put it right.

We work to keep Mailhuset available and reliable, but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and email delivery also depends on providers and recipient servers outside our control. We may add, change, pause or remove features, and we may carry out maintenance. Where a change is significant, we will try to let you know.

Mailhuset is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that any given message will be delivered or reach the inbox, since that depends on factors beyond our control. Please monitor your sending and keep your own records of anything important.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of Mailhuset. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law. Where liability can be limited, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.

The Mailhuset name, brand, website and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These terms do not give you any rights in them beyond using the service as intended. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve Mailhuset without any obligation to you.

You can stop using Mailhuset at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@mailhuset.com. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if it is needed to protect the service, our reputation or other people, or if we are required to by law. Serious abuse, such as sending spam, may lead to immediate suspension. When an account is closed, we delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms as Mailhuset grows or as the law changes. When we make a meaningful change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use Mailhuset after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, where Dalysie AS is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live. We will always try to resolve any issue with you directly first, so please reach out.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours to a successor of our business. These terms and the documents they refer to are the whole agreement between us about Mailhuset. Neither of us is responsible for a failure caused by events beyond reasonable control.
